The space is located on the ground floor, adjacent to the TCL Chinese Theatres Box Office. This bakery will likely appeal to locals and tourists seeking a tasty snack while strolling along the Walk of Fame.
Taking over the space formerly occupied by Cookie Dough Dreams, Wetzel’s Pretzels is an American chain of fast-food restaurants, specializing in pretzels and hot dogs. The chain has more than 370 locations across the United States, Canada, and Central America, mostly located in shopping malls, airports, theme parks, and stadiums. The company, which was founded by Rick Wetzel and Bill Phelps, opened its first store in 1994 in Redondo Beach, California.
At every Wetzel’s Pretzels bakery, each premium pretzel is hand rolled from fresh dough and baked in-store throughout the day. This ensures a fresh offering for every customer regardless of when the pretzel craving strikes.
Wetzel’s Pretzels is no stranger to the neighborhood, as there was a location across the street at 6922 Hollywood Boulevard Suite 107.
In the Spring of 2023, the chain launched Twisted by Wetzel’s, an innovative streetside concept that takes Wetzel’s fun-loving brand and timeless menu and elevates it to a whole new level. Twisted by Wetzel’s is bigger than a traditional Wetzel’s and offers a broader, more creative menu.
